SHOWCASE // SHAPE OF BECOMING

Join us for an intimate evening showcasing Salon Séance's new work, Shape of Becoming.

Shape of Becoming explores the influence of people in our lives on our sense of identity, and how they help (or hinder) us in finding our unique voices. A live performance of Benjamin Britten’s String Quartet No. 2 will guide the audience's personal reflection, amplified by storytelling and interactive ritual mirroring Britten’s own story of personal growth. In addition to Britten's music and life, this experience is inspired by the Japanese Noh theater, the meditation ritual of sutra tracing, and personal interviews with craftspeople in Japan including a traditional ceramics artist and a sushi chef.

Join us for a night of musical performance, panel discussion with our creative team, and light refreshments.
