Nadja Hoyer-Booth, is a New York native just back from nine years in L.A..

One of her favorite memories from that time was the role of Jessie in Calendar Girls  performed at the California Theatre of Performing Arts.  Lifelong friendships were formed as we women stood together – naked, beautiful and empowered.

Performing with Danny Glover in the feature film The Shift also revealed to her how generous the “big” names in show business can be.

One does not perform alone, but in concert with so many:  writers, directors, cast and crew – and in this case, talented musicians!  Such a glorious collaboration and she is grateful and proud to own her place in this production.

A true but little known fact is that Nadja has served her country as a WAC, (Women’s Army Corps) inspecting the beef for the troops in a meat packing plant in Boston.

Finally, she looks forward to working in the next Emmy Award Netflix series opposite Helen Mirren.
